Meet Jo
Hi, I'm Jo Macdonald.
I'm a Career Coach, Career Counsellor, former recruiter and Defence Partner, and I've spent the last several years helping hundreds of Defence Partners build careers they genuinely love.
I know firsthand that building a career around Defence life isn't straightforward. Between relocations, deployments and constantly starting over, it's easy to put your own career on hold or lose sight of what you actually want.
That was my story too.
Today, I combine my lived experience as a Defence Partner with extensive recruitment experience and professional career coaching qualifications to help Defence Partners gain clarity, build confidence and create careers that work around Defence life, not against it.
Originally a rural Kiwi girl and now proudly calling Brisbane home, I'm passionate about helping Defence Partners stop waiting for the "right time" and start backing themselves.
