Hi, I'm Jo. I get it because I've lived it.
I’m a Defence Partner Career Coach, Career Confidence Specialist, former recruiter and Defence partner.
I know firsthand what it feels like to suddenly find yourself packed into one of those posting boxes too. Your career gets put on hold, your confidence takes a hit, and somewhere among the removals and everyone else’s needs, you lose sight of what you want and what you’re capable of.
Finding my way back started with giving myself permission to ask, “What do I want?” Then came the even braver part: giving myself permission to go after it.
For me, that has meant rebuilding my career, backing myself and finding my voice again, sometimes quite literally through singing.
